poured first layer of concrete last night, and had enough left to complete the kitchen floor, and do half the foyer. countertop is looking closer to done, and my entire body aches.
even using drill-attachment mixer to make that part faster, the rest — pouring and spreading concrete — is hard on the body. ow, ow, man, ow.
next up, get the field tile today if I can bloody well find the warehouse this time, then lay the tile surrounds. another night to cure and then do the second layer of concrete pour along with grout.
first, though, I think I’ll just sit here for a few more minutes.
