stupid ie7, grrr: grid issues.

Somewhere there’s a closing div that FFX wants and IE7 doesn’t, so if you’re looking at this in IE6/IE7 then you’re probably seeing the sidebar menu… somewhere down at the bottom, below all entries. I’ll fix it as soon as I can get the Mac set up side-by-side with a IE machine, and then start the laborious process of getting IE to look (at least somewhat) like the FFX version. Boy, and I thought the days of crossbrowser issues between Netscape and IE were bad.

Anyway, bear with me while I figure it out — there are still some places in the design that need work in FFX itself, never mind IE. (Let’s not even mention how bullets and numbers show up in entries, after I so brilliantly whacked the styles there while in the pursuit of something else, who knows.)

In the meantime, the floor is 90% done, but even after the childhood lesson of seeing Dad wrap that dishwasher-sized box for a christmas gift, I’m not sure how even Dad’s smarts would manage to wrap an entire living/dining floor. Maybe just a single sticky-bow in the middle would do the trick?

Pictures coming soon.
